100 Eleventh Avenue is a residential condominium at 19th Street and the West Side Highway in Chelsea, Manhattan. Ateliers Jean Nouvel designed it, with Beyer Blinder Belle as executive architects and DeSimone Consulting Engineers as structural engineers. Construction began in 2007 and finished in 2010. The developers were Craig Wood and Curtis Bashaw. Nouvel calls it a "vision machine"; the article names no style.
It has 72 units, about 130,000 square feet (12,000 m²) and eight elevators. A pixelated curtain wall of stainless-steel frames covers the south and west sides, with 1,647 panes in 32 sizes. Black brick covers the north and east sides. The curved tower form gives each unit street frontage.
Amenities include a 70-foot (21 m) heated pool, a spa, a gym and a garden. A semi-enclosed atrium called the Loggia holds trees. By 2008 the project was $50 million over budget and behind schedule.
