César Pelli designed the tower, with Íñigo Ortiz and Enrique León also taking part, and Dragados was the main contractor. Construction began in 2004 and was completed on December 4, 2008. It stands in the Cuatro Torres Business Area and is owned by Mutua Madrileña.

The architectural height is 817 feet (249 m). The infobox gives 52 floors, while the text describes 46 office floors and six underground parking levels, which does not clearly reconcile. The glazed form has variations at the top that create four facade planes, like cut crystal.

A vertical garden of about 6,500 square feet (600 m²) on the top floor is described as the tallest in Europe. The article calls it Spain's tallest building since 2008. It gives no public access details.
