King Stefan Uroš I endowed the Church of the Holy Trinity as his burial place. The infobox gives 1259 for its construction, the lead says it was built from 1259 to 1270, and the body says 1260. The infobox lists the Raška school of Byzantine style, and the text describes a transition from Komnenian to Palaiologan art. The article gives no dimensions.

Only the church survives from a larger complex. The frescoes include a cycle of the Great Feasts in the nave, a Dormition on the western nave wall, and Old Testament and eschatological scenes in the narthex.

Ottoman raiders removed the lead roofing in 1689, and the monastery was set on fire. Major restorations took place from 1925 to 1929 and 1949 to 1958. UNESCO listed it in 1979 as part of Stari Ras and Sopoćani.
