Santa Maria del Giglio, also called Santa Maria Zobenigo, stands in Venice. The article says the Jubanico family founded the first church in the 9th century. Admiral Antonio Barbaro, the chief benefactor, paid for the rebuilding of 1678 to 1681 to designs by Giuseppe Sardi.

The facade is called one of the finest Venetian Baroque facades in the city. Marble relief maps show places Barbaro served, including Candia, Zadar, Padua, Rome, Corfu and Split. A statue of Barbaro by Josse de Corte stands at the center, flanked by figures of Honour, Virtue, Fame and Wisdom.

Inside are paintings of the Evangelists by Tintoretto and a Rubens Madonna and Child, his only painting in Venice. It is a Roman Catholic church in the parish of San Moisè.
