Tylman van Gameren designed the original Baroque bath-house for Prince Stanisław Herakliusz Lubomirski, finished in 1689. King Stanisław August Poniatowski bought the estate in 1766 and had Domenico Merlini convert it into a summer residence. The text gives Merlini's work as 1764 to 1795, and the infobox says 1775 to 1795.
The infobox gives Neoclassical, and the text calls it classicist. It has a square plan on an artificial island that divides the lake in two. The marble exterior has facades unified by an entablature on giant Corinthian pilasters, and colonnaded bridges connect it to the shore. Delft tiles line some walls.
Retreating German forces devastated the interior in 1944 but did not blow the palace up. Renovations ran from 2012 to 2015. It had over 4.9 million visitors in 2019, and the article gives no ticket details.
