Kenzo Tange Associates designed Tower One, with SAA Architects, for OUB Centre Limited, formed in 1980 by OUB and Overseas Union Enterprises. Work started in April 1981 in the text, and OUB moved in on November 10, 1986. Lee Kuan Yew opened it on August 8, 1988. The article names no style.

Tower One rises 920 feet (280 m), with a steel frame and reinforced concrete shear walls. It was the tallest building in Singapore from 1986 to 2016. The infobox counts 63 floors, the text 60. The original cost was 486 million Singapore dollars.

Tower Two, 686 feet (209 m) and credited to Paul Noritake Tange, opened on September 18, 2012 and holds a BCA Green Mark Platinum rating. The podium was rebuilt in 2014. Overseas Union Enterprise is listed as owner, with the text giving the sale as 2005 or 2006.
