Mikołaj Krzysztof Radziwiłł, called Sierotka, started construction in 1582, and the castle was completed by 1604. The family later invited German and Italian architects for the renovation, but the article names none. The main building became a Renaissance-Baroque house, and Antoni Zaleski decorated its yellow facades with Baroque stucco work.
The corners of the château were fortified with four octagonal towers. In 1706 the army of Charles XII sacked the castle and destroyed its fortifications. The complex was extensively restored from 2004 to 2012.
UNESCO inscribed the complex in 2005, as part of the Architectural, Residential and Cultural Complex of the Radziwill Family at Nesvizh. The article says the castle and the nearby Corpus Christi Church were instrumental in the development of Central European and Russian architecture. It gives no ticket information.
