Moszna Castle was first built in 1768, according to the infobox, though the article also mentions older cellars. A fire on April 2, 1896, partly destroyed the Baroque central palace. Franz Hubert von Tiele-Winckler commissioned the reconstruction, which also extended the residence. The eastern Neo-Gothic wing and orangery were built by about 1900. The western Neo-Renaissance wing followed from 1912 to 1914.
The style is eclectic, combining Neo-Gothic, Neo-Baroque and Neo-Renaissance elements. The article gives about 7,000 square meters of floor area, 365 rooms and 99 turrets. Emperor Wilhelm II visited twice, and hunting is documented in 1911 and 1912.
The Tiele-Winckler family owned it from 1866 to 1945. It became a convalescent home in 1972. It is now open to tourists.
