The Cathedral of Maringá, officially the Catedral Basílica Menor Nossa Senhora da Glória, stands in downtown Maringá, Paraná, Brazil. José Augusto Bellucci designed its modernist, conical shape, which the article says he drew from Soviet Sputnik satellites. Archbishop Dom Jaime Luiz Coelho idealized the design. The infobox lists its style as Brutalism.

The foundation stone was laid on August 15, 1958. The stone is marble from St. Peter's Basilica in Rome, blessed by Pope Pius XII. Construction ran from July 1959 until May 10, 1972, the city's 25th anniversary.

The cathedral rises 407 feet (124 meters) and holds 4,500 people. The article describes it as the tallest church building in the Americas and the eighteenth tallest in the world. It is the cathedral of the Archdiocese of Maringá.
