Maribor Cathedral is dedicated to Saint John the Baptist and stands in Maribor, in northeastern Slovenia. It is the seat of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Maribor and also the parish church of the Parish of Maribor, St. John the Baptist. The article does not name a builder, client or architect, and it gives no construction dates beyond the late 12th century.

The original church was Romanesque and dates to the late 12th century. Later Gothic alterations added a rib vault, a larger choir and two side naves. Baroque additions include the chapel of Saint Francis Xavier and the chapel of the Holy Cross. The article gives no dimensions or building materials.

Bishop Anton Martin Slomšek, an advocate of Slovene culture, is buried in the cathedral.
