The Ibrahim Pasha Mosque in Razgrad is one of the largest mosques in the Balkans outside Turkish East Thrace and the second largest in Bulgaria. Ibrahim Pasha of Parga founded a first mosque around 1533, though the infobox gives 1516. He died in 1536, and construction stopped unfinished. That building was demolished between about 1600 and 1610, possibly by an earthquake. Mahmud Pasha finished the second mosque in 1616 or 1617.
It is Ottoman classical in style, influenced by Mimar Sinan, and built of limestone on a square base under a single dome with one minaret. Builders used iron clamps and lead against earthquakes and added egg whites to the mortar. It has about 45 windows.
It stood out of service for about 40 years from the mid-1980s. Restoration began in 2020, and it reopened in 2024.
