The Great Synagogue of Grodno stands at Vialikaja Trajeckaja Street 59a in Grodno, Belarus. The congregation was established in 1576. The first synagogue, a wooden building designed by Santi Gucci, was built between 1576 and 1580 at the invitation of Rabbi Mordechai Yoffe. It burned down in 1617, and the second synagogue burned down in 1899.
The Jewish community commissioned the present building, built from 1902 to 1905. The infobox names Iya Frunkin as architect and lists Gothic Revival and Moorish Revival styles. The text calls it eclectic and Moorish.
The Nazis vandalized the interior in 1941, and Soviet authorities closed it in 1944. The community regained it in 1991 and restored it under Rabbi Yitzchok Kofman. A fire destroyed it again in 2013, and it has since been restored. It was nominated for UNESCO listing in 2007.
