The Cathedral Basilica of St. John the Apostle, also called Eger Cathedral, is the Roman Catholic cathedral of the Archdiocese of Eger in Hungary. Archbishop János László Pyrker commissioned it, and József Hild was the architect. It was built from 1831 to 1837. The article does not name an overall style period.

The plan is a basilica with three naves, a transept between the nave and the eastern chancel, and two bell towers at the rear. The eastern porch portal is designed like a Greek temple. The facade is supported by Corinthian columns about 56 feet (17 m) high. The article gives no building materials.

The dome rises about 131 feet (40 m) above the ground and is described as lavishly decorated. The monumental entrance has statues of St. Stephen, St. Ladislaus, and Saints Peter and Paul.
