The Beverly Wilshire Hotel stands at the corner of Wilshire Boulevard and Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills. Developer Walter G. McCarty built it on the former Beverly Hills Speedway site, and Walker and Eisen designed it. It opened on January 1, 1928 as the Beverly-Wilshire Apartment Hotel. The style is Italian Renaissance, with an E-shaped structure of Tuscan stone and Carrara marble.

Paul Revere Williams led renovations from 1946 to 1957, a tower wing was added in 1971, and Gruen Associates renovated the Wilshire Wing in 1988. The original Olympic-sized swimming pool was replaced by the tower wing. The hotel has a ballroom added for big band performances and a Beverly Presidential Suite.

It was renamed The Regent Beverly Wilshire in 1985 and became a Four Seasons hotel in 2006. It joined the National Register of Historic Places in 1987.
